The Times They Are a-Changin'
 Midland's school hours will be changing this coming school year, based on recommendations by the Accreditation committee. You can read more about it in a recent letter from the Principal's office. The new hours will be as follows:
Monday - Thursday: 8:10 am - 3:20 pm
Friday: 8:10 am - 1:30 pm
Early dismissal: 12:10 pm
Parking Lot Progress
The makeover of Midland's parking lot has begun, thanks to the Midland Foundation. The old curbing has been removed, and new cement is being laid. Once this is complete, a new layer of asphalt will be laid down, and striping applied. Expected date of completion is August 2010.
ATTENTION: Chiefs fans and MAA fans!
 Home and School has teamed up with the Kansas City Chiefs to raise money for Midland.
If you would enjoy working fan assistance at one or at all of the Chiefs home games this season, the Kansas City Chiefs will pay Midland for your time! There is no better way to give back… go to all the Chiefs games for free and raise money for our school - the more volunteers, the more we raise.
The only requirement from the Chiefs is that you are 18 or older, have a clear criminal record, and that you attend an NFL orientation. The next orientation will be held at the school on Tuesday evening, August 3 at 6:00 pm. (you will need to bring two forms of I.D to the orientation).
The job would basically be directing fans to where they want to go…restrooms, seats, gift store…etc. The average each volunteer will earn per game is $50.00!
We are so blessed to get this opportunity to raise money for Midland, so with that being said… ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL??? If you are ready to sign up, call Travis Finnegan at 913-649-6641.
